Children’s Day, celebrated on November 14, is recognized across India to increase awareness of the rights, care, and education of children. The day is also held as a tribute to India’s First Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. Fondly known as “Chacha Nehru” among children, he advocated for children to have fulfilled education. Nehru considered children as the real strength of a nation and foundation of society.

8th November, 2022 is Kartika Poornami, Kartikamasam is the most favorite month of Lord Shiva. According to the Puranas, on the full moon day of Kartika, Lord Shiva is said to have killed the demon Tripura. The birth date of the second President of India, Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, 5 September 1888, has been celebrated as Teacher's Day since 1962.
