HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY 2022
 

Children’s Day, celebrated on November 14, is recognized across India to increase awareness of the rights, care, and education of children. The day is also held as a tribute to India’s First Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. Fondly known as “Chacha Nehru” among children, he advocated for children to have fulfilled education. Nehru considered children as the real strength of a nation and foundation of society.


KARTHIKA POURNAMI 2022
 

8th November, 2022 is Kartika Poornami, Kartikamasam is the most favorite month of Lord Shiva. According to the Puranas, on the full moon day of Kartika, Lord Shiva is said to have killed the demon Tripura. Kartika Poornami is considered as the most auspicious festival and large number of devotees visit temples and light Kartika lamps.


NARAKA CHATURDASHI CELEBRATION
 

Naraka Chaturdashi, falling on October 24 this year, is a Hindu festival celebrated across most of India. Also known as Choti Diwali, it is celebrated on the second day of the five-day-long Diwali festival. Diwali is a five-day festival that begins with Dhanteras and ends with Bhai Dooj.

The birth date of the second President of India, Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, 5 September 1888, has been celebrated as Teacher's Day since 1962. This day is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesh, the elephant-headed son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Lord Ganesh is the symbol of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune.
